How do I install LiteWire internet?

What is the speed of your internet service?

Our plans offer speeds ranging from 8 Mbps to 1 Gbps, depending on the selected package.

How do I know which services are available in my location?

Due to our wireless method of delivery, every installation starts by confirming your location.

After you submit your service request our team will get to work confirming both availability, as well as the best possible signal route needed to maximize the service levels for your location. Once completed, we will contact you to schedule your installation appointment.

How do I know what plan is best for me?

Is there a contract required for your plans?

We offer both contract and no-contract options. Choose the one that best suits your preferences and lifestyle.

Users who select a 2 year commitment will receive a discount of $5 per month for the term of service.

Can I lease a router for wireless service?

Yes! With LiteWire Managed WI-FI you will have the safest and most secure wireless access possible in your home. All for $5.00 per month plus a $25.00 one-time activation fee.

Select from Professional Installation for $50 or self-install at no cost. Professional installation includes the Managed WIFI hardware and if you wish, a tutorial/demonstration connection with one of your devices. If you need help connecting other devices additional charges will apply. 

Do I need to be home during the installation?

Yes. Because the installer will require access to the inside of your home to complete the installation, we do ask that you or another authorized adult be present.

In addition, you will be required to sign our terms & conditions, and (if installation is successful) make your initial payment as part of the initiation process.

How long does installation take?

Our normal schedule is a week out, while the installation itself takes about 60–90 minutes. That includes mounting the antenna and running a clean, professional cable to your router—wherever it’s located in your home.

We will work with you to schedule a time window that best fits your schedule. If you are available anytime, please let us know, as you might just get a call from us to be set up sooner if we are running ahead of schedule.

Are there any additional fees I should be aware of?

There are no hidden fees. All costs are clearly outlined in your plan details, ensuring transparency and peace of mind.

What equipment is included with the plans?

Installation materials include the following

  • Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)
  •  Ethernet cable connectors on all supplied cable
  •  Standard mounting bracket, if needed
  •  Weather sealant for connections and structure penetration
  •  One wall jack, if necessary
  •  Up to 150' of cat 5e cable
  •  Additional cable available for $0.35/ft.

They will perform a site survey to determine the best placement for optimal performance. The installation process typically takes between 1-2 hours. Our team will ensure everything is working perfectly before leaving, and they will provide you with a brief overview of your new service.
